Experiential Learning is the process of learning by doing. At Ravenwood, we use real life experiences and problems as pedagogic medium for teaching and learning. By engaging students in hands-on experiences and reflection – they are able to connect the classroom learning to real-world situations.

We exhort students to understand themselves as a learner. We empower them to take charge of their own learning and development. 

Interdisciplinary Learning

Ravenwood’s interdisciplinary approach consciously applies methodology and language from more than one discipline – to examine a central theme, issue, topic, problem, or work. We help students learn by making connections between ideas and concepts across different disciplines.

The content is often rooted in life experiences, giving an authentic purpose for the learning and connecting it to a real-world context. Consequently, the learning becomes meaningful, purposeful and deeper, resulting in learning experiences that stay with the student for a lifetime.
